Why We Built This
Admissions is broken for most students.
Every year, millions of students submit college applications without a clear picture of where they stand. The students who do have clarity — the ones who get early feedback, know how they compare, and understand what committees want — almost always come from privileged backgrounds with access to private advisors.
Our founders saw this firsthand: one as a D1 lacrosse recruit moving through elite prep schools, another as an ML engineer at an edtech company watching students pay thousands for advice that could be automated. The insight was simple. If you could put a real score on a profile, compare it to peers, and surface honest gaps — most students could self-correct.
Prospxt launched in 2024 with that thesis. We combine AI-driven profile evaluation with a live community of students sharing real decisions. No fluff, no upsells — just the data you need to compete.
