1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Prospxt (the "Service"), operated by Prospxt ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, clicking "I Acknowledge," or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Prospxt. By using the Service you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We may introduce additional verification or parental-consent requirements where required by law, and your continued use may be conditioned on completing them.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may not impersonate another person or misrepresent your academic record.

4. What Prospxt is — and is not

Prospxt provides AI-generated evaluations, composite scores, rankings, and community features for informational and educational purposes only. Our scores and reports are estimates produced by an automated model. They are not admissions decisions, predictions of admission, guarantees of any outcome, or professional counseling advice. You should not rely on them as the sole basis for any decision. College admissions outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

5. User content

You retain ownership of the profile information, posts, and other content you submit ("User Content"). You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use your User Content to operate and improve the Service — for example, to generate your evaluation, display your ranking, and power the community. You are responsible for your User Content and must have the rights to share it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or infringing.
• Submit false or fraudulent academic information.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download other users' data.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use the Service to spam, advertise, or solicit other users without permission.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

7. Paid subscriptions

Prospxt offers a paid "Pro" subscription billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Prices and features may change with notice.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that evaluations will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Prospxt and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or admissions opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
